Segment 2 - Joe Strauss, Brian Haenchen & Jeff Ponder 4.10.15

Looking forward to some slap n' tickle..., take it or leave it negotiations, how Tim likes to run the business with the guidance of his dad, Joe Strauss of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch joins the show, always loves holding on the phone for about five minutes, complements to Doug on his line of questions for Prof. John Ammann the other day, interesting how Blues have gone from Brian Elliott to Jake Allen, believe that vibe of whole team has changed postively with emergence of Allen, we're not talking about division champs without Allen in net, looking forward to maybe what soon needs to be accomplished from a franchise performance standpoint, intrigued what would happen if Blues cannot advance past first round, cannot forget about TJ Oshie (along with others probably) expressing frustration, on the players..., expectations high once again, huge last night that Kings were bounced, things going Blues way as opposed to last season, Joe would go with Brian Elliott in the final regular season game to give him a look, looking at the Cardinals about to face the Reds, column about overlooking some key offensive numbers from last season, someone in the lineup needs to step up, cannot win division again by averaging 3.8 runs per game, liking the leaderboard at Augusta while understanding one day at The Masters is like two weeks in baseball, Doug doing The Masters broadcaster voice again..., Tim mad that Brian Haenchen brought up the Asian thing before he came on the air, Brian joins the show (with the gong...), not sure if Koreans use a gong, Jeff Ponder joins while cutting off Brian..., slap n' tickle in Pasadena..., incredible atmosphere at Scottrade, too much red in the stands according to Chris Pronger, Jeff also does not like seeing the red in the crowd, "somebody jelly...", bit of a lull in second period but nice overall game from home team, wondering where all the Blackhawks fans come from to invade our building, Brian of the belief that Blues ought to go with Elliott for the last game, now Pondsie going after Haenchie about the goalie situation..., do not want Allen to get roughed up in final game, expectations plus possible consequences moving forward, Pondsie thinks Hitch is back no matter what happens, Haenchie agrees on Hitch being back after all the accomplishment, one likes the Jets while the other think good first round matchup would be Blackhawks, Chuck has outkicked his coverage..., taking a shot at Chuck too..., lying about trust fund, Tim tired of being insulted because he outkicked his coverage too, discussion of the hosts banging each other..., 'off the rails', Steph Curry breaking his own three point NBA record, wondering who the NBA MVP ought to be..., want to see LeBron win with Cleveland, that city has not seen a championship since 1964, Plow Boy apologizing to someone, hearing about Weezer quitting his job with KMOV, Charlie says most journalists leave the 4 Fox & support the sponsors!
