Hello from Ryan Kelley, what a weekend that was, captain's log, Doug not doing the hockeyism might cause a Game 3 loss, nice trivia about Vladimir Tarasenko hat trick, Doug still refusing to purr on his sportscasts, 'Frank' really stepping up with three goals in Game 2 victory for Blues, have to finish which was problem for Game 1, some incredible moments seeing the Blues prevent some goals in Game 2, series moving to St. Paul (Minnesota), Doug recalls his days covering hockey in 'The Land of 10,000 Lakes', Star Tribune reporting that fans were calling out 'Senko' to get young Frank's attention during the game, Vladie's speaking much better, support our sponsors, looking at the rest of the series, good pony show action, Doug sees action as hoosier get together, weekend that was out and about..., The Cat seeing Plow Boy with his buddy Mason at the ballpark, learning about Mason, Plow Girl playing a lot of Bunco over the weekend, very quick Sunday night ballgame, ESPN almost had to air to episodes of Sportscenter, storm was approaching with ballgame ending, Cardinals sitting on top of the Central Division, ball club now heads to Nation's Capital, looking forward to some good pitching matchups, oddity of offensive trends to start the season, SLUH math tells Tim that Cards are scoring about two runs per game, not much power from ball club either, Randal Grichuk hurts back in weight room putting him on DL, curious if Grichuk was using the rowing machine when hurting back, that Claire and Frank Underwood used the rowing machine, Doug still not familiar with "House of Cards", not paying attention like Roman Turek over a decade ago, texters encourage Doug to watch "House of Cards" due to improptu MMF, ProdJoe texting Tim over the weekend about booking an Iraqi gentleman, apparently this involves Blues beat writer Jeremy Rutherford, not sure why ProdJoe wants this guy on this week, figuring out the motive of ProdJoe who fills in this week for traveling Cat, also will have Jay Jr. too, looking forward to potential #FFF with Plow Girl, Joe Strauss of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch joins the show, looking back at the Game 2 win for the Blues, expecting long series, have to see consistent 'true nature' from Blues that we saw in Game 2, certainly some close calls in the win, seeing big goal from Patrik Berglund killing nervous vibe in Scottrade, actually seeing decent play from Bergie over the past few weeks, Blues certainly sticking with Jake Allen moving forward, seeing that the Blues are the better team of the two yet long way to go, looking at the rest of the playoffs, seeing Joel Quenville pull Corey Crawford for Game 3 start that saw Blackhawks take 2-1 lead over the Predators, shifting the first-place Cardinals, look fine at 8-3 yet runs still the concern, wondering how long pitching success can keep going, thinking that we might Stephen Piscotty after Grichuck going to the DL, stadium proposal thoughts with San Diego plus Oakland running out of time & support our wonderful loyal sponsors.
