Billy Gilman watching "The Little Mermaid" late last night, lot of Blues dicussion this morning, Joe Strauss of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, not sure about Ken Hitchcock staying or going, cannot be-grudge franchise for wanting to make wholesale changes if they decide, cannot pin whole thing on Hitch, feeling somewhat fooled by this particular roster after some recent trends before postseason, not being able to find higher gear like other better teams, Blues could not isolate the better players from Wild, time to stop trying to figure out why they cannot take next step, almost insulting (for fans and media) to keep asking why..., have to acknowledge reality at some point, shifting to the Cardinals who probably lost Adam Wainwright for the season, Joe was big advocate for Cardinals getting outside help during Spring Training, not only about this season but from a long term perspective too, making 'dumpster dive' for short term solution will not solve issues current and coming, have to consider giving up top prizes (Carlos Martinez or Marco Gonzalez), do not see leader/ace for pitching staff, curent status of the trade market for someone like Cole Hamels, huge leap of faith believing that Michael Wacha can quickly be the new ace of the staff, The Cat with his take on possible trade, rest of the captain's log, DraftKings over the weekend & ship some action today (DraftKings.com/Insidestl).
